The Iron Kettle Landmark Restaurant was first established in 1947 as the Aurora Drive-In. In 1960, owner Phil Milliron changed the name to the Iron Kettle and it has been known as such ever since. The restaurant has always thrived, featuring home-cooked meals prepared in-house every day. Unfortunately, circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic forced closure of the business.
Under new ownership, the Iron Kettle Landmark Restaurant is a 100% woman-owned business that re-opened in April 2022. The restaurant continues its rich tradition of high-quality food prepared from scratch daily.
We welcome you to experience the unique warmth & quaint beauty of our two main dining rooms. Each room features their own fireplace and has been named after our children, Ella (age 11) and Alex (age 6). From time-to-time, you will find Ella and Alex helping out!
The coffee shop offers a cozy space to enjoy your meal and chat with some locals.
If you are not able to dine-in with us, please call ahead for your on-the-go take out order.
